Alexandra Boulé-Buckley has been performing in the opera since the second grade when she convinced the director of the Portland Opera that it was sexist to only let little boys sing in the boys choir in Tosca. Since then, she has recieved her BA from Whitman College in Vocal Performance, and a Master of Music from Rice University's Shepherd School of Music. Her time in Europe, spent primarily in France, Austria, and Italy, has helped train her linguistic ear, and her flawless diction is one of her distinctive traits. Since moving to Washington, DC, she has performed with Bel Cantanti Opera, Victorian Lyric Opera, and The Washington Savoyards on several occations. She looks forward to performing more regionally and nationally. |
